Are You Prepared for an Emergency?

Many of the trainings and workshops you may have attended were geared towards a catastrophic event but what would you do if your business or home was threatened by a fire or other type of event that could force you to evacuate at a moments notice? Would you know what to bring with you? Who do I contact? How do I contact them? The basic question is Are you prepared? We will answer these questions and many more.

Faithful Response has created a number of preparedness brochures and interactive workshops, using an all hazards approach to help you better prepare your family, business, house of worship and school.

Emergency Preparedness Workshops

Faithful Response's comprehensive interactive emergency training program is designed to educate participants on emergency preparedness and response.

Interactive workshop will include information on:

• Ready-2-Go Bags
• Emergency Supplies
• Communication and Meeting Plans
• Sheltering in Place
• Home Exit Plan
• Preparing your Pets
• Fire Safety
• Individuals with Disability and/or Special Needs
• Possible Physical and Emotional Reactions
• Importance of Becoming Involved in Your Community

In addition, this improved educational program will give you the opportunity to experience the use of hands-on fire extinguisher training as well as test your knowledge on fire and emergency response safety.

If your community group is interested in sponsoring a workshop please e-mail us at help@faithfulresponse.org and use the title "Preparedness Workshop". In your e-mail include the name of the group or organization, contact person, phone number and a brief description about your group or organization and the type of training you are interested in.

Priority will be give to those community groups or organizations who:

• provide services to individuals 50 plus years of age
• whose membership is 50 plus years of age or
• school groups (i.e. PTA).

These workshops are provided free of charge and can be customized to your group or organization's individual needs.
